Ride the Divide
2001 Trip to West Coast
Leaving Colorado and going through Utah and Nevada to the Bay area for a couple of days. Then up the Pacific Coast Highway to Eureka, California, the home of the giant redwoods. Then continued up the coast highway in Oregon to Portland. We cut east at the Washington and Oregon border along the Columbia River, east of The Dalles we headed northeast to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho and spent a couple nights. Then through Montana to West Yellowstone and spent a couple of nights to tour Yellowstone National Park. Then dropped south through Teton NP, into Colorado and home. Odometer Start 17,077 Finish 21,151 = 4,074 Miles / 17 days = 240 Miles per Day Average
